Privacy Policy — Small Things

What data we collect

Small Things collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service: your name, email address (via Apple or Google Sign-In), daily text and voice entries, pair connection information, and subscription status. We also collect timezone data to deliver prompts at the right time.

How we use your data

Your entries are shared only with your paired partner. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the app experience.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Convex cloud infrastructure. Voice recordings are stored in encrypted file storage. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via TLS.

Your rights

You can export all your data at any time from the Settings screen. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account, your entries are replaced with [deleted] and cannot be recovered. Your partner's entries about you remain visible to them.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services: Convex (database and backend infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription management), Sentry (diagnostics and error tracking), Superwall (paywall analytics), Prodigi (print fulfillment), Expo (push notifications), and Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In (authentication). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
